’Tis the season to be merry, and in that spirit, we’re thrilled to announce a unique partnership between R Systems and HackerNoon for a first-of-its-kind internal writing contest: R Systems BlogBook — Chapter 1.

This contest is designed exclusively for R Systems staff to share your experiences, projects, and case studies, showcasing the hard work you’ve put in and how it contributes to R Systems’ leadership in the digital transformation industry and its unique approach to software product engineering.

Key Contest Info

  • Duration: 3 months,
  • Rounds: 3 (one per month)
  • Total Winners: 12 (4 winners per round)
  • Prizes:
  • Grand Prize: Co-branded Laptop Sleeve
  • Top Participants: Co-branded Blogger Badge

Contest Structure

  • The contest kicks off in January 2025 (exact date TBA).
  • Each round will focus on two writing prompts, with one month for submissions.
  • After each round, the editorial team will review ALL eligible submissions and select the top four stories. These will be featured on R Systems’ blog and subsequently showcased on the company’s business page on HackerNoon.


Participants are to use their projects and experience at R Systems to tackle one of two writing prompts each round, as follows:

Round 1

  • AI/ML Model Deployment with MLflow and Kubernetes
  • Enhancing Developer Productivity with GitHub Copilot and Other AI Tools


Round 2

  • Microservices Observability: Leveraging OpenTelemetry
  • Implementing Zero Trust Security in Cloud-Native Environments


Round 3

  • Exploring the Capabilities of WebAssembly for High-Performance Web Applications

  • Integrating Generative AI into SaaS Applications: Best Practices and Use Cases

Interested participants are encouraged to start brainstorming ideas and stay tuned for the official announcement with full details.
